Our sincere condolences to Lana, Marc and Dawson. We have had such a great experience bring your neighbors. Barry was always so friendly and welcoming. Even putting up with our disaster of a mess, letting us encroach on his property do we could dig a pool for our family. We wish we got the chance to get to know him better, we loved what we knew of him. Rest in peace Barry
This world is a little less happy without Barry, he was a very generous and giving person with a calm that made us all feel at peace.
Dear Lana and Marc; Every fibre of my being feels your pain; your loss; your grief. There truly are no words to express the depth of love and loss I feel. You all, as a family, showed Steve and I, so much kindness, love and support when Lon passed, it will never be forgotten, and we will always be grateful. Steve and I hope to be able to provide even a fraction of that love back to you. Please be well and feel loved, because you are!!
Sorry for you. Loss

I am at a loss for words to express the sorrow I feel for Barry’s family, what I can say is I had the pleasure of knowing Barry as a buddy and a band mate in Dawson Creek many years ago, he was veritable force as a bass player. I have played music all my life and every time I was in a new situation I would hope for another Barry to come along- it never happened.
Barry was always on time ready to play, a smile on his face and delivered a perfect performance. may he rest in peace.
So sorry, Lana. It is so hard and seems to be so unfair, as I know.
God bless.
Dear Lana,so sorry to hear about the tragic accident that took the life of your beloved Barry. My thoughts are with you and Marc ar this sad time. Sending love Maureen
Marc and Lana, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Barry always made me feel like part of the family whenever I was in Kelowna. I really appreciated his calm presence and thoughtful conversation. Thinking of the two of you in this difficult time.
I had the absolute pleasure to have Barry as a band mate in “Express” our band in Dawson Creek many years ago. He was without a doubt one of the most talented bass players I have ever performed with. My sincerest condolences go out to his family. Your pain and suffering at this time can only be imagined.
Sadly I am out of the country and will be unable to attend the service but will be thinking of everyone on that day.

Sometimes, working with someone brings out certain qualities in that person. In my few years working with Barry, I now get it. He said it like it was…..
….I didnt always agree, and many times I shook my my head. But,…..I think he knew what I meant when I spoke to him or emailed him. He cared, and expressed that. Even if it meant that he was against the company line.
Only a couple of months ago I was informed that another one of our “security brothers” passed away……and now I am very sad to hear about Barry.
To Lana, and the family of all……my condolences. I will never forget my experiences working with Barry……and Lana. Memories…….so sorry……Dave…..
Lana and Marc – We will always remember Barry and his beautiful smile. There really are no words to express our sorrow for your loss. May all the love that surrounds you both help you through this difficult time.
Shannon and I are very saddened for your loss! Our deepest sympathy to you, Lana, your son Marc, and all those who knew Barry. I remember Barry very clearly as he always had that great positive attitude and even bigger smile. I would consider our family, and the people who knew him, blessed.
Lana, there are no words that I can say about this so sad news… Barry will be missed, he was a man once you met you couldn’t wait for the next time as the conversation (and laughter) was always so good. Please except our condolences to you, Marc and the rest of your family from our family.
Lana; I just heard from Dan. My deepest condolences to you and you family. I know you are strong and are a survivor.

Dear Lana and all the family, Paul and I were so shocked and sad to hear about Barry’s death. What a vital, smart and funny man, and how his world will miss him! Our love to you and Marc.
Marc,
I am so sorry about the death of your father and I also extend my heartfelt sympathy to your mother Lana. While I only met both your dad and mom once last summer, I know from Eva that they were both so generous and welcoming to her when she could not be with us. Lana, thank you for opening your home to her and know that your husband will be remembered by Eva and I.
Dear Lana,
No words can express how sorry we are to hear of your loss. Please know that you are in our hearts and our thoughts are with you and Marc through this difficult time of such a sudden loss.
We will drink a cup of tea in your beautiful teacup you gave us in honor of Barry. And we may add a little something to it. Sending you our love and the biggest HUG that hopefully we can deliver in person. Hugs and kisses, Lydia and Matt xoxoxox

Lana, heard of Barry’s passing by way of Aaron earlier in the week and just wanted to pass along my condolences to yourself, Marc, and the extended family. Enjoyed working with both Barry and yourself back in the ADT days and my best wishes to you in this difficult time.

Our thoughts are with you Lana and Marc at this sad time.. Barry, you were a truly genuine guy, a real class act with a wonderfully dry sense of humour and we will miss you dearly.
Only had the pleasure to be in your company twice but that was enough to experience what a lovely man Barry is. His hospitality at the house having dinner (bitterballen is all I remember) and later your company at the German restaurant are both events I remember fondly. Our thoughts are with you, so sorry for your loss.
Dear Lana, we were very sorry to learn of Barry’s passing. We have fond memories of your time in Montreal. Our sympathies to you and Marc. Rosalind and Tom
