My sincere condolences to Margaret’s family. I knew her many years ago, I went to school with her and I well remember the evenings when she and Harvey would join us at our skating party on the creek near our home. My parents were good friends with Harvey’s parents as well. Rest in Peace, Margaret.
Thinking of your family & remembering a vivacious happy woman!!
We loved Margaret! She is one of the first people I met when I moved to Kelowna in 1975 and we have been friends ever since. The times have flown fast as we both moved to other places and we had other chapters in our lives. However we kept in touch where and when we could! Margaret loved life, her family and her God! She was always enthusiastic and kind and friendly. Our love and memories are with you.
Our condolences to the whole family. Love and hugs to you all

We have special memories of meeting your folks in Winnipeg days! Our last visit she included us at the home’s Mother’s day family gathering. Precious Mom/grandma. May such memories bring comfort thinking of all she was looking forward to on the other side. With heartfelt sympathy to all her family, Herschel and Grace

Please accept my condolences in the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Having grown up with you all, we spent a great deal of time at each others’ homes. Harvey and Margaret always made me feel like I was a part of their family. In adulthood, when I first returned to Kelowna, Margaret invited me to room and board at her house until I could get settled. She never treated me as a boarder, but as one of her family.
In the last months of my Mother’s life, Margaret was there to give as much assistance to my Mother and my family as possible. For this, our family will forever be grateful to her for her help, compassion and kindness to our Mom.
In these last years, whenever I went to visit her (which wasn’t often enough), I was greeted with a hug and lots of laughter about days gone by.
You chose a great picture as I will always remember her smile, her great sense of humour and how much fun she was to be around. After visiting with her, I always felt good and looked forward to our next visit. May she rest in peace and all your memories live on and may you all find comfort in knowing how much she meant to so very many others.

Thoughts are with you all today, Dale, Donna, Diane and family. Have some wonderful memories of times in your mom’s home. The days in the summer of 1975 when I lived in Kelowna often come to my mind. We were always welcome at your place, no matter how many of us, how noisy we were! There was always a big smile and an open door. Today there are deep reasons to mourn, but deeper reasons to rejoice. Lovely to think of the choices Margaret made that makes this day what it is.

Dear Family,
Your dear mom, so kind hearted and fun, always welcoming with a smile and a light laugh. You were our neighbor for many many years and as a young lady I never felt uncomfortable going to your home as there was always a welcome from your mom ,always an open door..
So many many times tea and cookies, cakes, buns etc, given from the heart.
Margaret will be missed but not ever forgotten, forever an indent of her soul left behind on earth in those who loved her.
