So very sorry . Uncle Lance was truly a legend . He always made sure everyone was having fun and a good time and if you were not he would start the song over , (cattle call) His story about his childhood trip to the enchanted forest is one I will never forget . He was a story teller , always made everyone laugh and a really strong rum and Coke ! I loved family functions and watching him and auntie Debbie really cut a rug . He will be missed . You have all been in my thoughts and many tears have fallen thinking about you all , sending my condolences and much love ~Lori
First of all we would like to extend condolences to your family.
We have so many memories of Lance. I was so blessed to have him as a brother -in-law.
Lance was a kind generous man, that was a given. He had the Johnston wit and sense of humour. . We will never forget our numerous trips to Vegas. In the motorhome. It was like a party on wheels.
We loved the car races and the family completion times five.
Lance and Debbie welcomed us into their home many times over the years.
From rides on the boat, to sitting around the fire and gazing at the stars we always had fun. I will never forget when Lance and Jim put on a karaoke concert for Debbie and I. Let me tell you there is nothing like a Patsy Cline rendition sung by two brothers. I am not sure the fish in the lake liked it or the neighbours but we sure did.
Having Lance in our life was joy.
We have enjoyed seeing all the pictures of Lance with his family over the yeas. He has been so generous and good to his family. His grand children love him. He will be greatly missed. We are very sorry for your loss and send our love and prayers to you all.
