LUNDY, Hugh Nugent
July 1, 1943 — December 8, 2021
While surrounded by the love of his friends and family, our beloved Hugh Lundy passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021, at his home, after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Edmonton, AB on July 1, 1943, to the late Ian & Myrtle Lundy, Hugh was also predeceased by his first wife, Marie.
Hugh leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Katherine Edzerza; his daughter Tara Lundy (Thomas Jackson) and grandsons Declan & Killian, all of Langley, BC; his son Troy Lundy of Edmonton, AB; his stepdaughter Leia Edzerza and step-grandson Cole, both of Kelowna, BC; as well his brother Desmond Lundy of Nova Scotia, and his nephew Kevin of Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local food bank, in Kelowna it is the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank.
You are invited to join Kathy & family at Hugh’s shop, 1964 Moss Court, Kelowna, BC. Gathering will begin Friday, December 17, 2021, at 7:00 pm; the Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm with a Traditional Last Supper to follow.

Kindest thoughts to the family. Highway was a wonderful and generous man. He offered me a room for the winter when I had first lost my left leg. Great sense of humor and loved by all🥰❤️❤️
We offer our deepest condolences to the family of Hugh. He was a one of a kind great guy and did a lot for friends and family just for a thank you. I was lucky enough to see, talk and hug Hugh just before his passing and I give him thanks for that. Hugh was a friend for many years and will be missed by us all!

My Condolences to the Lundy family. So many fond memories of Hugh and the Skidoo team and camping at the Byers” farm. . I am sure Bernie will be there to meet Hugh as he loved him too.. The world is a poorer place for the passing of Hugh. Thanks for all you have done, you will be missed.
