Gramma Pat, as I knew her, was my Grandmother. I am the son of Bill Packer. My brother Brian and I have nothing but good memories of our grandparents. Despite the fact our Father left us and we had little relationship with them. We still loved them. I regret not reaching out as an adult, it would have been nice to reconnect, after the passing of my Father. I will hold close to my heart the memory of visiting Gramma and Grampa in their home, I think it was Armstrong at the time? Playing in their big backyard and beautiful garden. My Grampa gave me a Family History plaque explaining our heritage… “We came from Vikings” I’ll never forget how cool that felt to hear. Gramma’s Smile will be forever burned into my memory… though I dont have many more to share… I send my Love and positive faith to my remaining ‘Packer’ family.
My brother Brian Packer has 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. The Packer family is much larger than this obituary states, so let’s not forget that fact, despite the history. Rest in Peace Gramma and Grampa. May we meet again in the afterlife and enjoy some true family time.
Here is the photo I have from this time we were able to visit Gramma and Grampa…. I was 12 years old and Brian would be 11 years here. So 1995 I believe. This was a great visit, I will hold onto forever.
Dear Cindy, my Sincerest Condolences to you and the family on the passing of your Mom, Aunt Pat. I always loved to visit your Mom and Dad whenever I was out West in Chilliwack. Some great times. Love to you and the family.
