We Remember

FREEMAN, James Anthony George “Jim”

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Jim Freeman’s peaceful passing on August 20, 2023, at the age of 89.

Born in England, Jim’s journey included being in the British Royal Navy, where he proudly served his country. He will forever be remembered for his dedication to his country. Jim’s fondness for Fish and Chips was a simple pleasure that highlighted his appreciation for the joys of life.

Jim’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched. He is survived by his devoted companion, Gwen Harvard. Jim’s love and guidance will forever be cherished by his children, Terry (Vicki) Freeman and Rosemarie (Dan) Seeburger. He leaves behind cherished memories for his grandchildren: Clint Freeman, Nora Freeman, Victoria Lindsey, and Stephanie Tillery. His great-grandchildren, Blake, Paxton, Lennox, Everlee, Myah, Koen, and Olivia, will carry forward his spirit. Jim was predeceased by his parents, George & Amy (née Clements) Freeman, as well as by his sister, Ruth.

While no service will be held, the impact of Jim’s life is felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington Society of Canada.
