We Remember
JONES, Isaac
April 17, 2000 — October 1, 2023
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the sudden loss of Isaac Carl Michael Jones (23) on October 1,2023.
Isaac was born in Kelowna, BC on April 17, 2000, and is survived by his mother Sharon; father David (Chantal); sister Hannah (Matty), and brother Marshall; grandmother Shirley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Isaac was a young man trying so hard to navigate his way through life. Growing up in his family home in Lake Country, BC, he created some long-lasting relationships. Isaac was very active growing up, playing hockey in the winter and soccer in the summer. He also spent lots of time in the back country camping and dirt biking. Every summer, he looked forward to one week of family camp at Gardom Lake and later at Charis Camp. Isaac learned to ski at an early age and enjoyed trips to Big White with his cousin. He also had a love for skateboarding, where he would spend many afternoons and weekends with his buddies at the skate park.
In high school, Isaac took mechanics, a skill (one of many) that came naturally to him, and it enabled him to maintain his own vehicle as well as helping his friends.
After graduating from high school, Isaac joined a construction company. He learned several more trades there before deciding to become a rebar ironworker for Harris Rebar. He was a quick study and liked by all his peers. He had just completed his first year of school this spring and was looking forward to returning for his second year.
Isaac had a gentle, kind soul with a big heart and an infectious smile. There are no words to describe how deeply he will be missed by all who knew him. He is now and forever at peace in the arms of Jesus, where he can spread his love and kindness until the day comes where we are together again.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teen Challenge Okanagan.
