We Remember

WOYCHENKO, Aaron Steven
May 13, 1962 — March 14, 2024
Aaron Steven Woychenko (née Elgie), 61, passed away following a brief illness at Kelowna General Hospital in the early hours of March 14th, 2024. Aaron was born May 13th, 1962 in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Ranfurly, Alberta.
Aaron is survived by his children, Amber (Richard), Miranda (Brad), Zachary, Ryan (Emily), Byran, and Mackenzie (Steven); grandchildren Gage, Sebastian, Riley, Skylar, Bennett, and Blaire; father Jim; siblings David, Diane, Candice, Traci, Jennifer, and Tyson; and by his former spouses Laurie and Rhonda.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Karen.
Aaron loved his family, Elvis Presley, and his dog Zeus. He had a warm smile that lit up his blue-suede eyes and enjoyed making others laugh.
The book of Aaron’s life had many themes — memories, intentions, hopes, regrets, love, and acquisitiveness. His final chapter came far too soon, the shock of it a reminder of his humanity. As we close the book on Aaron’s life, we wish for the final pages to be written in peace.
For our Papa, one last time we will sing together:
“Maybe I didn’t treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn’t love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind”
You will forever be on our minds.
Aaron is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

So sorry for your loss Amber! Beautiful write up!
Wish you were still working with us so we could give you a hug and hear your stories.
Peace to you and your families. God Bless
Peter and I were saddened and shocked to hear of Aaron’s passing. He spent some time with us when very young and would call us intermittently in his adult life. May your memories and the hope of the resurrection spoken of in the Bible bring you some comfort and peace. We look forward to reacquainting with Aaron in the paradise earth. Sending family and friends our deepest sympathy and warmest condolences. With love from Peter and Linda Woychenko
