We Remember
ELLIS, Vicki Rae
September 11, 1956 — September 7, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Vicki Rae Ellis, who unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2024, at the age of 67.
Left to hold her dear to their hearts are her children Anissa and Johnathan (Arleth); her five grandchildren Jaedyn, Sebastian, Valeria, Charleigh, and Autumn; siblings Glenda, Donna, Kelly, and Raymond; and her beloved church family. She now goes to join those who passed before her, including her mom Joyclyn; and sisters Julie and Corine.
Vicki was a remarkable woman whose beautiful soul left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was the definition of kindness, strength, and grace, and faced many of life’s challenges with a courage that was inspiring. Her fierce independence was matched only by her radiant smile, which could light up even the darkest of days.
An artist at heart, Vicki found joy in expressing herself through drawing and poetry. Her creativity was mirrored in her fabulous sense of fashion, a reflection of her vibrant personality and love for life. Vicki was not only artistic but also an athlete, excelling in softball, curling, bowling, and gymnastics. Her passion for sports was a reflection of her determined spirit, always pushing herself to be her best in everything she did.
Above all, Vicki’s greatest love was for her family, her friends, and her church family. She cherished those closest to her, always offering a kind word, a helping hand, and an open heart. All who had the privilege of knowing Vicki will miss her warmth and generosity, and her presence will be greatly missed.
Though she has now joined her heavenly Father, Vicki’s spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched. Her strength, her kindness, and her radiant smile will remain forever in our hearts.
As Vicki was very giving and charitable, memorial donations may be made in her honour to the charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
