Uncle George William Robert was always an important figure in my family. As my mother’s younger brother, the pair shared childhood experiences that bound them together throughout their lives though they lived far apart. . Uncle “Bob” always represented what was good, true and noble. His thoughtfulness and generosity were much appreciated during her final struggle against dementia. He was a remarkable person. I share his family’s loss.
I just learned of Uncle Bob’s passing today. The last visit I had with him was one of shared stories and laughter as we caught up. He was as sharp, maybe sharper than much younger people. Also, Uncle Bob was very socially active with his friends and neighbours getting together regularly well into his late nineties. I found this very inspiring. He always held a special place in my mother’s (Gwen) heart throughout her lifetime.; I am grateful that they shared that wonderful sibling bond throughout their lifetimes. She passed last August. He was never very far from her thoughts even through her clouds of dementia; and she from his thoughts. He never forgot her birthday!

My sincere condolences to his family and friends 🧡
To George’s entire family.
We met George in 2017 and we were blessed to meet him. A true gentleman, kind and so thoughtful always. George enjoyed sitting under the tree in the summer with others enjoying a glass of wine, and having a good laugh, it will not be the same.
RIP my dear friend.
