We Remember
CANEVARO, Suzanne “Renee”
April 23, 1954 — January 16, 2025
It is with regret that the family of Renee Canevaro announces her passing on January 16, 2025.
Renee is predeceased by her mother Phyllis, father John, and brother Wes. Renee is survived by her brother Dana; three sons David, Matt (Abany), and Steve (Susan); and four grandchildren Olivia, Willa, Hudson, and Jaxon.
Renee’s calling was counseling others and helping people. She had a passion for travel and new experiences and deeply valued continuous learning. Her purpose and joy in life were her sons. Her favourite years were the “growing up” years and they passed much too fast. She will be profoundly missed, and her legacy of love will live on through her family.
The family requests no flowers. A donation to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated instead.
If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Condolences”.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I was friends with her in high school and reconnected with her in later years. She was a wonderful person. She was so proud of her sons and grandchildren!
I’m so so sorry to hear about Renee’s passing. She was a lovely person and a great social worker.
Renee had an over abundance of kindness about her. I’m sad for her family and friends,
I’m really going to miss not seeing or talking to here ever again.
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother Renee. She was delightful to converse with and a important member of our community. May your memories give your family much comfort and peace.
Such a strong woman. Renee was there for me at a really low point in my life. Her words live on in me thru her therapy and love she provided. I will miss our weekly calls and her words of encouragement. An angel on earth.
