We Remember

SCHRAM, Lydia

Went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 86.  Survived by her loving family: her husband of 66 years, Norm; daughter Jancie Rosentreter (Wayne) of Calgary; granddaughter Jenifer Pickrell (Kelly) of Calgary; grandson Brian Rosentreter (Sheena) of Calgary and one great granddaughter Rilee (Jenifer and Kelly) of Calgary; two brothers: Art and Howard and one sister Ann.  Nana loved to entertain family and friends and was a fabulous cook and baker, loved to garden, sew, knit and fish.  She was an amazing Wife, Mom, Nana and friend – loved by all.  She will be in our hearts forever.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10:30 am at First Lutheran Church, 4091 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1589 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5Y7.  If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
