We Remember
GILLMANN, Doris Kathleen
—
On July 9th in Kelowna BC, Jesus called Doris home. Born on December 13, 1925 and raised in Simmie, Saskatchewan, Doris moved to Kelowna as a young woman where she raised her children, Glenn and Sandi. Doris loved to entertain family and friends with fun gatherings and wonderful meals. She touched all who knew her with a great love, genuine hospitality and wonderful sense of humour. Photos of her family, whom she loved so dearly, were proudly displayed throughout her home. Doris always looked forward to visits with close and extended family members.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Glenn (Lori) and Sandi (Jason), grandchildren Jamie, Kalan, Sydney, Brenna, Jacob, her sister Jean and step children Allan and Carol. Predeceased by her siblings Bernadette, Earl, Francis, Jerry, Carl and Walter.
Thank you so much to the amazing folks at Three Links Manor for your care of Doris over the past three years. At Doris’ request there will be no funeral held. Memorial donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital (www.kghfoundation.com). If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”
