It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden death of their beloved husband and father Richard Allan Kempf on August 11, 2015. Richard was born in Kelowna, BC on November 17, 1965. Richard is survived by his wife Carolynn of 24 years; daughter Takara; son Spencer; mother, Maureen; father Oskar; brothers Roy and Chris; and sister Kathy. Richard was a devoted family man who you could always count on for his wonderful sense of humor. He was very social and liked by anyone who knew him or met him for the first time. His working life as a Journeyman Carpenter demonstrated his strong work ethic. He was an ambitious man whose life was inspired to support his family and his friends. A memorial service will be held at the Springfield Funeral Home located at 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Richard was one of the nicest and most decent men I have ever met. He helped me on the most painful day of my life and I will always remember our frequent chats and many laughs at the mine. I am lucky to have know him. Takara and Spencer…please take care.
