I had the pleasure of working with Gordie on and off over the years. When I had a project that required his highly valued work ethic and knowledge, I always looked forward to having some Gordie time. And he never let me down. He helped me in so many ways at work and on a personal level in a friendship/life coach mentality. I will always hold a special place in my heart for the man and send my deepest condolences to his loved ones.
I have great memories of Gordie when working with him in the Cariboo. Gordie had a great sense of humour and myself and Gord Berthold always took time to share a laugh when we were all out staking a pole line.
