Eileen & Family, you are in our thoughts and prayers for your loss of Andre. We have fond memories of growing up & working in Kelowna with you both, and your families. We wish that we would have had the opportunity to re-connect later in life (now). We hope you find peace in all the loving memories you have had together in life.
With deepest sympathy for you, Eileen and your family. I met Andre and you while I was working at the Cancer Centre and you became very special to me. I have heard some really wonderful stories from my parents of when you all were growing up in Kelowna.
I feel very honored to have met you both, and to have shared some hugs and tears with you in Andre’s last few months.
I know you will find the strength you need to carry on in his memory Eileen. You are a very strong lady, and time, family, friends, and all the memories will console you at this time.
You had 53 wonderful years with your bestfriend in life. Keep that in your heart and hold onto to it tightly, this will comfort your tears.
With love, your friend…Pam

Dear Blanleil Family
Connie and I send our sincere condolences. As you mourn the loss of your dear Husband, Father and Grandfather, we know you will find comfort in the support and warmth of family and friends and also in the cherished memories of Andre Sr. While we are deeply sorry for his passing, we join you in the celebration of his renewed strength and health as he passed into God’s hands.
My memory this morning recalls our brief conversations at King’s Stadium with Andre Sr as he watched his boys. Over time, he would talk about the “greats” he played with and against over his long years in fastball – some of the names familiar through conversations with my Dad and his memories of fastball in Calgary. One detail in those conversations was always consistent–the conversation would always end with a clear message that his three favorite and all time best were Andre Jr, Rene and Maurice. I loved his devotion to his boys. He is and will always be your greatest fan.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
