We Remember
ANDERSON, Tracey
March 31, 1964 — March 7, 2023
Tracey was always full of joy as a child, her smile and laughing eyes never failed to charm people. She loved going to school and to summer camp with her friends. Norm, her dad, was involved in Special Olympics for many years, and both her parents enjoyed the social activities that she loved. Dancing was one of her favorite things to do. Tracey also loved popcorn to the extent that she endured many hockey games which she did not enjoy, just to have the popcorn bowl on her lap.
Tracey attended Pathways Abilities Society from 1985 until her passing on March 7, 2023. She formed many lifelong friendships, learned many job skills and traveled with the Travel Club to Mexico, Cuba, Hawaii, and Disneyland several times which she thoroughly enjoyed! In addition, for over 20 years she attended Camp Owaissi one of her favorite places. Tracey lived in a Pathways home share and eventually moved into a Pathways home. She loved parties, especially her birthday. She was tenacious, cantankerous, and at times, may have offended a few with her propensity to curse. She loved puzzles, bingo, music, socializing, and looking her best!
She will be missed by so many, especially her family and good friends Glenda and Neil. She passed away peacefully with friends Diane and Glenda at her side. She was important and loved and is mourned by her sisters Ann, Debra, Betty (Mark), Dianne (Mike); and brother Dwayne. Tracey is predeceased by those whose love for her never ended, her parents Norm and Joyce, brother Carey, brother-in-law Vern, and very good friends Eugene Gardypie and Jason Cline.
A private family service will be held.
