We Remember
BADKE, Anne
—
It is with great sadness that we say “farewell” to our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister and Aunt, Anne Badke, who passed away peacefully at Springvalley Care Centre on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Always kind and generous, Anne will be fondly remembered for her wonderful cooking and baking, her enjoyment of games, her love of family and her indomitable spirit. Anne goes now to join her loving husband, Bert and will be sorely missed by her four sons: Bill, Dave, Gary and Jim; her daughters-in-law: Rosemary, Joan and Sarah and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to her sister Lena and nieces Trudy and Elaine, for all the care and attention they have showered on Anne this last year. An interment will take place on Tuesday, May 15th at 12:15 pm at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, followed by a celebration of Anne’s life at 1:00 pm from Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Dear beloved family of Anne Badke:
May our Almighty Loving God comfort you in your loss. Her delightful ward presence was always cherished as our Monday morning hymnal group performed at Springvalley…Bill and Edith Jorgenson,Ruth Higgey, and myself, all from Trinity, and Erika Sobkowich, Edith’s sister, cherished her presence and support. God bless you all, wally dennison
We have fond memories of both Anne and Bert. It was their influence that kept us at Trinity over 30 years ago. We had many happy visits in their home.
May the Lord grant you peace in lives well spent for their Lord.
