We Remember
BAXTER, Elizabeth Ann (née Paice)
—
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ann Baxter (nee Paice) on May 23, 2022.
Born September 7, 1956, in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, “Liz” was the youngest daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Paice. The family moved to Rutland, BC in 1957 living most of their years in the Black Mountain neighbourhood. She graduated from Rutland Senior Secondary in 1974 and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in 1979. Liz taught school for 14 years and then moved on to a career in business administration until she retired from CoSyn in Edmonton, Alberta.
Liz is remembered for her infectious laughter, and her love of family, friends, and wiener dogs. We will miss her generous, kind, and gracious nature. May she rest in peace.
Liz is survived by her loving husband Gary, son Thomas, her sister Joyce Greenaway, brothers Ron and Cliff (Mariann) Paice, and numerous extended family.
