Dearest Gail, Abby, Trinity and Danny,
My deepest condolences on the loss of Dillon! His light will shine bright in the sky and in your hearts forever!
To all those who knew and loved this exceptional human…Dillon. I have no words due to the breaking of my heart. Dillon worked so hard to understand, to reconcile his history and trauma. He won, more than once. I had the great privilege of being witness, walking close to him every day for over a year. More than any of the many he was tucked tightly in my heart. I thought I would always be able to check on him no matter where we were. A phone call while he was on the lower mainland saying “Marj, your voice was exactly what I needed today”…me too.. And we laughed because our interactions usually involved intense cursing.
Dillon…I will be checking on you to make sure you are peaceful. Your mom and Abby and baby boy will be in my prayers for a time their grief might not be so deeply consuming in every fibre of their being.
I love you so big, you taught me so much

My thoughts and prayers for your strength… Dillon and I had some amazing times sober and one in particular at Baldy in the greenhouse by the pond where we shared about our past shames. Strength through vulnerability. Much love…
