BORDEN, Ron

After a short, yet courageous battle with cancer, Ron passed away on August 19, 2015 at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Tanya; daughter Shayna (Ken) Clouston and their children Kristopher, Dean and Dustin; two sons: Steve Borden and his daughter Taylor; Cameron; two sisters: Theresa (John) Veldman and Linda Voros. Sadly predeceased by two brothers: Alan and Tim. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6. I worked with Ron for 20 years at BCRail , he was a great co worker, shared lots of laughs over the years, sad to hear of his passing a still a young age, my heart goes out to Tanya and family , hope that good memories in time will replace the sadness

My Deepest condolence to the family. Ron was a good guy and I have so many go memories. I worked with Ron at BC Rail Locomotive Shop, were both were hostler’s. Ron will be missed.
