BRUCE, Lawrence (Larry)

July 18, 1919 — October 19, 2013

 

Passed away, Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the age of 94. Larry was born July 18, 1919 and was raised in Alberta. He lived in the Rossland/Trail area for over 30 years while the children grew up. He moved back to Alberta for 27 years and then came to Kelowna in 2004. In 2006 Larry was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Ida. Surviving Larry are his daughter, four sons, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 4 brothers and his special friend Jo Bryant. Memorial service will be held Friday, November 8th, at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.
