I was honoured to have served in The Rocky Mountain Rangers with Bob. He was an inspiration to me and, in many ways, my mentor. I regret that I lost track of him over the years. May he rest in peace.

  • Larry Weatherly says:

Bob was a true friend always interested in how our family was doing. Always had a kind word for others.
Lots of interesting stories, particularly about his refereeing and time in the forces. We will miss you Bob and our talks as well. RIP our friend, you earned it.

  • Richard J. Finley, CD says:

Isobel, you were gifted to have such a special man for the time he graced this world with his presence. He was and is a mentor to so many people during his time, we all wish deeply we could have spent more valuable time with him. I can never say how much he meant to everyone who had any conversation or simple time with him. He was a true community father and friend to so many. The one family that will missed him more than any other is The Rocky Mountain Rangers of Kamloops. He served with my Grandfather Bernard Finley, something I wish I could have done. He had left the regiment when I served. He may be gone but never forgotten. May God be thankful that he picked an incredible man to bring home to rest in Gods Kingdom such a beautiful, honourable and special man. Miss you Uncle Bob.
