BUDD, Barbara Margaretta (nee Dickie)

December 14, 2024 — January 1, 1970

Barbara Budd, 77, resident of Kelowna, formerly of Moncton, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully at the Kelowna General Hospital on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.  Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Alan; two sons: George (Carol) of Ancasters, ON, Tom of Kelowna; daughter Cheryl Gellhaus (Wayne) of Edmonton; six grandchildren: Quentin Budd (fiancée Stephanie Yim), Lisa Budd, Payton Budd, Dillon Budd, Brad Gellhaus, Jill (Phil) Merta; brother-in-law Douglas Budd; two sisters-in-law: Ann Budd, Charlene Bain; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  She will always be missed and forever cherished.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 3:00 pm at the Hotel Eldorado (Great Room), 500 Cook Road, Kelowna, BC.  Please confirm attendance to cherylgellhaus@shaw.ca by Monday, May 27th.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of BC, 600-890 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 1J9 or Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9.  Condolences
