So sad to learn that Rod has died. He was always guaranteed to make me laugh. We had 4 years together at U of S and our year as room mates at 1014 College with Dave Sutherland and Gary Jocelyn was especially memorable. So many good memories come back to me as I think about Rod.
Lucille has such great memories of her uncle Mac and cousin Rod with their crazy puns and stories at family gatherings.
Sorry that living on the East Coast prevented us from seeing him much in recent years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I am saddened to hear of Rod’s passing. I have many fond memories of family holiday parties and summers at Buffalo Pound Lake. He will never be forgotten. Margot
Shocking to learn, our deepest condolences for you loss. Rod, a great friend and colleague for many years, we will all miss him for his gentle ways and brilliant council.
So sorry to hear about Rod. I worked in the downtown office until the Willowgrove office opened. He was one of my favorites. He was always upbeat, kind and had a crazy sense of humor. The topic of conversation was primarily of family. You will miss him dearly and a big hole is there. He was much too young to leave. Hugs.
So very sad to hear of Rod’s passing. A fine, fine gentleman with a terrific sense of humour…he’ll be missed.
Condolences to Rod’s family. We grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same schools, and worked together during one summer at Outlook. Rod was a fun person to be around and will be greatly missed.
Dale, so sorry for your loss. Condolences to all of you.
Dale, Adriane,Mike, Brandon, Camryn, Weston, and Parker…..So very sad for your loss. May the memories of
your time with Rod, Dad, Grandpa; give you comfort. Rod’s humour is what stands out for me. Always a smile and a joke. Life seemed lighter when he was around. May his star shine bright upon you and be with you always. Strength, and courage in the days ahead. God Bless.
Condolences to you and your family Dale. So sorry to hear of the loss of your husband.
Our sincere condolences to Dale and family on Rod’s passing. It seems such a short time ago that we were neighbours chatting across the fence. Rod was a wonderful person. he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very sad time.
Hi Dale. They finally took him from us. I feel so much for you and the kids. I know how much he loved and cared for you all. His special soul will be missed in our world. His gentle, kind, happy countenance gave us all a reason to smile and go on. Rod and I had many conversations about life, family, finding joy and even death. I miss him. Just knowing he was there gave me a sense that there is good in this world. His big laughs and sensible take on things helped me and others to continue the good fight. Know that many share your grief. Adriane and Brendon were given a gift of a wonderful father and friend. Let them know that we share their grief and remind them to focus on all those wonderful memories, that we know they have. Our deepest condolences and all our love.
Dale, so very sorry to hear about Rod. Condolences to all the family.
