Sending my Condolences to the whole Family.
Kim, Ryan, Shannon, Cally and Ethan: Our hearts and thoughts are with you. Mike was a true friend. In the 1990’s Mike helped me with Woodlot issues, stratums, conversions, grade wood and more. This was all foreign to me, He took the time to share his knowledge and coach me through the process. Mike logged for us, we worked on fires, built road, hauled gravel and even had a few beers. He will be truly missed, rest in peace my friend.

No words adequately express the void that is left by my precious baby brother’s passing. He had the kindest heart and was the most generous man I have ever known. I loved his sense of humor and knowing smiles. He always listened more than he spoke but his words were always sincere, respectful and considerate. He was not one to put himself or his needs first and took pleasure in seeing others having a good time. I am so proud of his amazing accomplishments. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, truth and love. He was loved and respected by everyone who ever knew him from the time he was a small boy. He possessed a certain rare magic that drew people to him and his humble nature kept them locked into his beautiful heart. I know our mother, brothers and father were very happy to see him but I will miss him tremendously until my last day on earth. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, Dear Brother. It was an honor to be your sister for 65 years.
Our family sends our deepest heartfelt condolences to such an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend and work colleague! Thank you Kim for the amazing visit and dinner last summer, you both are held so close to our hearts. Mike, I’m so proud to have had you in my life for over 26 years. You will be so deeply missed my friend!
Vern and I always enjoyed our farm talk while loading hay with Mike. He was thoughtful and good to us too. I hoped one day he would come drive tractor in the big hay field. It’s always more fun when making hay for someone else. Thinking of you all.
Kim and family, we are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We always enjoyed our little chats on Mountainside. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this most difficult time. Kevin & Linda Craigen

Mikey, my dear “baby cousin”. I want to thank you for just being YOU. Our families were always close and you have all suffered so much loss. We so appreciate the care you ALWAYS gave to my mom, your Auntue Julie. She was always just so delighted when you would stop by to see her and she never stopped bragging about what a wonderful man you were and was touched that you always kept in touch. One of the most faithful people ever.
Dave & I cherish the memory of reconnecting with you when we shared a drink with you & Kim in 100 mile. RIP Mike say hi to your mom, dad and brothers for me. Love you always.

Dear Kim and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you…
Mike Closs is someone who I have always enjoyed talking to and doing business with. Mike will be missed by many.
Our deepest condolences and sympathy to Mikes family and friends.
Mike was as honest, fair, generous and hardworking a person as I have ever dealt with. The quality of his work was always exceptional. I think that was the only way he knew how to do things.
I learned a lot from him. He said he has trained a lot of bosses.
Doug MacLeod and family
Our sincere condolences to the whole Family – you all are in our hearts!

Worked for Mike while he was logging in 100 mile house. Always a good guy to be around and good to work for. Rest in peace Mike.
My sincere condolences to the Family. Mike was a good man, spoke of his Family often. He was smart, kind and honest. We had many conversations about logging in the “good old days’. He will be missed by all. Jerry
Dear Kim and Family, I just learned today of Mikes passing, please know how very very sorry I am. Mike was an exceptional man, so well respected in the logging community and just a darn great human. I saw him a few months back, we were both getting fuel and we had a short but good visit as always, so kind and thoughtful he was. Mike will be greatly missed and well remembered. Kenna and I would have been there but we are away in Yuma. Our deepest sympathy for you and your family.
Kim and family, I was honoured to attend the beautiful tribute to Mike on Friday. Mike made such a lasting impression on all who knew him, myself included. Such a beautiful soul. Thinking of you as you navigate through this very difficult time. Hugs to all of you.
