We Remember

CRANDALL, Lori Kim

Lori passed peacefully into the awesome presence of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, as her Mom and sister held her hands one last time, on April 6, 2020.

Lori was born February 10, 1964 in Red Deer, AB. She was a happy child who loved to sing and imitate famous people. She had a great sense of humor that lasted into her final moments with us.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ejner “Jack” & Anna Nielsen of Vernon, BC, Jay & Myrtle Crandall of Kelowna, BC, and Martha & Charlie Temple of Red Deer, AB.

Lori leaves behind her parents, Bryan & Jeanne Crandall; her sister Nicole (Dan) Albrecht; brother Stacy (Christie) Crandall; and five beloved nieces Kennedy Paige Niles,Taylor Brooke Niles, Brielle Bailea Crandall, Aliya Christine Crandall and Chloe Larisse Crandall, all of Kelowna, BC. She also leaves her aunties Edie (Ron) Lundin and Evelyn Walton, both of Oliver, BC, Audrey Graden of Dallas, Texas, and Fay Hansen of Sechelt, BC; her great-uncle Harold (Dickie) Crandall; and many cousins.

She was admitted to Kelowna General Hospital many times over the last few years and was ultimately transferred on her final visit to Kelowna Hospice House. Thank you so very much to the many Doctors and Nurses who cared for her over the last 5 years and for the exceptional kindness lavished upon her at Kelowna Hospice House, your kindness was a blessing not only to Lori, but to her family as well. A very special thank-you to Pastor Paul Cassidy who faithfully visited & ministered to Lori over the years, as well as to Dr. Gregory T. McCloskey for his kindness & compassionate care. A hug with much love to Lori’s special friend, Marg Muirhead of Kelowna, BC, who demonstrated the love of God to Lori, over & over again.

May the Lord bless all who touched Lori’s life, abundantly.

“Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall come with singing unto Zion, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: They shall obtain gladness & joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away” Isaiah 51:11

There will be no service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, those who loved her most will celebrate her life together this summer.

Until we meet again Lori, our love remains strong…

I’m very sorry I didn’t give my sympathies sooner as I just found out today Nov23. – I’ve been dealing with my Parents passing this year, consequently Lori passed on the same day as my mother. Bryan & Jeanne the quote you wrote in the bible that you gave to me, you wrote ” May the lord richley bless you as you continue to discover the realty of Jesus Christ through the Lord”. I miss Lori’s humor and laughter may she rest in peace with the Lord.. There is so much more that Lori brought to the table, bye Lori we had Love and I will always remember.
