We Remember
DICKIE, Margaret Mary
December 12, 1931 — February 1, 2018
Margaret passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of Feb 1, 2018 at the age of 87. She felt blessed to be surrounded and cared for by her family and friends until she departed to continue her journey with her beloved husband, Bill, (predeceased Nov. 1965).
Marg was a loving mother to four children, Grams to her 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many family friends. She was the third of ten children, of whom she was predeceased by six siblings. To her, family, both blood and chosen, always came first.
She will be remembered by many for her faith, her caring nature, her generosity and her humor. Even throughout the last weeks of her life, she maintained her keen wit and a sense of calmness that comforted those around her. Many visits ended with laughter, a feeling of peace and a knowing that this parting would only be temporary.
A service for Marg will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at St. Edward’s Church, Winfield, BC. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos, or to share a memory, please scroll down this page to the area called “share your condolences.”

My deepest sympathies to you all.
Marg was a wonderful neighbour with a lovely sense of humour. I admired her daily walks around the park. May she Rest In Peace. How wonderful to have such a loving family at her side.
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Margaret. We shared the same 2 grandchildren and always enjoyed visiting Marg on our way through Winfield. Such a lovely lady . Our deepest condolences to Ron and all his family. Sincerely. Arleen and Vic
The obituary describes Marg to perfection. She passed her inner peace to all of us who had the priviledge of visiting and reminiscing with her. I will truly miss my golfing buddy

I am sooo happy I got to meet and know this lovely and beautiful lady. She had such a warm way about her. I loved her smile, her laughter and always enjoyed chatting with her. To the family and friends, you all showed your love to her and did your best to comfort and support her in such a difficult time.
May she Rest In Peace leaving you all with precious memories
Hugs and deepest condolences.
I enjoyed golfing and playing cards with your mom. She was a very good friend of my mother (Irene Scott). She will rest in peace, sorry for your loss.
Sadly we have passed without our lights rekindling. Remembering you Auntie Marg with deep fondness. Until we meet again.
