I just got word of Diane’s passing and it has affected me deeply. My heartfelt sympathy is poured out on her family and friends. She was my best friend throughout my primary and early secondary school years and with the exception of a brief but profoundly remembered meeting in the early seventies she has always been on my mind. I had so hoped to meet up again. What a precious soul. Rest in peace dear Diane.
To Diane’s family and friends our deepest condolences for the loss of a special person. Diane has taught me so many wonderful things in life.. One of the most important things she did show me was that you are who you are and stand your ground in your beliefs. Never allow someone to judge you and never judge yourself…Live life to the fullest with no regrets in your choices. One Special LADY in my heart always..
Note to Jim you were very lucky to have someone so full of life and love.. Her job now is to watch over you from afar..And she will be there forever..
Hugs to you my friend

time has passed and the pain of our loss is still so deep. every time we see the likeness of a Dian walking down the street with her sweeping walk we say there she is. then reality steps in
Thanks for all your support.
I was so extremely saddened today to hear of Diane’s passing. She was such a joy to be near. I knew her from dressers and every appointment that I had over the many years was full of laughter and fun. Her humour was second to none and I will miss her dearly. My heart goes out to Jim and Diane’s family and also to her extended family of Terry and Kenny. Hugs …..
Shock and sadness for Diane’s passing, we still can’t believe it, Jack loved her reminder calls for my appointments and the chats they had, and I loved Diane. She was truly a special person. We will all miss her but she will be in our hearts forever. Our condolences to her family and her extended family, Terry and Ken.
I am saddened to read of Dianne’s passing. I came across her obituary today after googling her name. Dianne and I were roommates in Vancouver in the early 70s. Although I spoke briefly with Dianne and Terry several years ago, I haven’t actually seen her in over 35 years and I will never forget her. I remember Dianne as vivacious, nurturing, funny, mischievous and possessing a beautiful broad smile. She loved to laugh. It has been so long since this obituary was posted, I don’t know if anyone will see this. But my condolences to all those who loved her.
We lost touch after I moved to Victoria for work and I am so sad to have learned by way of an internet search, of her passing – 4 years ago. Diane was always a very positive, happy lady who loved her family and friends with an open heart. We shared many laughs as well as some tears – the world is a better place for her having been here. My deepest condolences to Jim and Ross and families.
