DUNCAN, Lenore Linda
December 11, 1945 — April 2, 2024
On April 2, 2024, Lenore Duncan passed away unexpectedly at the age of 78 years. She is survived by Norman, her husband of 59 years; children Evan (Denise), Neil, and Debbie (Ken Chapman); granddaughter Cailan; stepgrandson Allen; sisters Delores Burns, Louise (Rod) Smith, Gerri (Marv) Rachul; nieces Karen (Warren)Toombs, Lori Duncan, Tammy Fleury, Tracie (Ben) Boyd, Shellie (Gene) Bechthold, Tiffany (Curtis) Sulzle, and Jaylyn (Jesse) Jager; nephews Greg (Sharon)Duncan, Lance Duncan, Shane Duncan, Derrick Smith (Michelle), Darren Smith(Kayla) Ian Burns; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ed and Stella Gorovenko.
There will be an opportunity to pay your last respects and to visit with the family on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
Lenore will be laid to rest in a private family gathering at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna, BC.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at the Rutland Seventh Day Adventist Church, 135 Gerstmar Road, Kelowna, BC, reception to follow at the church. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below).

Rest In Peace my high school friend from Vernon then CUC. W had some fun as young ladies. Our paths may not have crossed for some time now but you were often in my thoughts and prayers. See you on the other side my friend. 🙏🏽 💕 🙏🏽
Our memories of Lenore , and Norm, are dear to us and our children as we
we’re neighbours on Rittich Rd..They would stop by to chat and share laughs, sitting on a bench beside the Weigh Shack at the strawberry field after the pickers had left.
Lenore would remember our birthdays with a lovely homemade card as she did for her friends,
