We Remember

EDMONDS, Bruce
August 5, 1944 — December 4, 2020
Bruce passed away December 4, 2020, at the age of 76. Bruce is survived by his daughter Jennifer Kristen ; son-in-law André; grandchildren Anna, Cole, and Charlotte; brother Glen Edmonds; and nieces Amy and Jodi. He was predeceased by his parents John and Dorothy Edmonds .
Born and raised in Toronto, ON, Bruce moved to Kelowna, BC with his daughter and family in 2018. In Toronto, he was a Guidance Counsellor, English Teacher, and mentor to many at Humberside Collegiate Institute. He was able to touch the lives of his students through his caring and understanding ways, giving support and encouragement. He loved to vacation at the family cottage in Beaverton, Ontario & anywhere hot, spending many a family Christmas in Florida.
As a single and devoted father he provided constant, unconditional, and unwavering love and support to his beloved daughter Jennifer who is eternally grateful for him. He loved and treasured the time with his grandchildren, daughter, son-in-law, and gentle giant Obi. They enjoyed many great dinners and get-togethers as a family. Bruce was the best and most loving grandpa; he was never more joyful than when he was with his “grandbabies”.
Bruce was a friend to many and will be missed deeply.
A Service will be held to honour Bruce, due to the current pandemic restrictions it will be by invitation only. Should family and friends desire, memorial donations may be made to CHMA Toronto.
