FARQUHAR, Marion Carol
December 7, 1943 — May 21, 2023
Marion Carol Farquhar, age 79, passed away May 21, 2023, in the Kelowna General Hospital. She was born in Strathclair, Manitoba and later moved to Burnaby, BC, where she finished her schooling. She worked many years as a pharmacy technician at Langley Memorial Hospital. After moving to Kelowna, BC, she continued to work in the pharmacy at Extra Foods until she retired.
She is survived by her children Monti (Becky), Judy (Warren), and Barrie; grandchildren Talon, Kyle, Taryn, Seann (Jennifer), Morgan, Brittney (Colen), Brandon, and Myla; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Cathy and Marg; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne; parents Carl and Grace Grant; and brothers Don and Bob.
Marion had a great love for her family and friends and was much loved in return. She loved watching sports on her TV, and you could usually find her watching curling, hockey, baseball, or watching Hallmark Christmas movies.
A Celebration of Life will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at THE CASCADE ROOM, 1083 Sunset Drive, Kelowna, BC.

I was so sorry to hear of Marion’s passing. We were teenage friends in her Minnedosa Mb days we have kept in touch all through the years and had hoped to visit in person one day. I wish cherish the memories of such fun times that we had. RIP my dear friend. Please accept my sincere sympathy and cherish all your treasured memories.
