GEROW, John “Jack” Laverne
—
1942 – 2021
With heavy hearts, the family of Jack Gerow announce his passing on October 30, 2021, in his 79th year.
Jack loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with Jesus; we look forward to a reunion in heaven one day.
Born to the late Dudley and Hazel Gerow in Langley, BC, Jack leaves behind his loving family: his daughter Trudy; brother Rob; sisters Kelli and Cheryl (Smokey) Wagner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He will also be missed by his dear friends. Sadly, Jack was predeceased by his wife Deanna; son MacGregor; and sister Margaret “Meg” Sorensen.
A Private Graveside Service will be held to honour Jack.

Dear Trudy;
I send my love and sympathy to on the death of your Father. He was so proud of you;
His eyes sparkled when he watched you relate so graciously and welcomingly to those of us when we came to your house for your Mother to do our taxes over the many years. You were quite a team.
God be with you as you are comforted by your happy memories. As God continues to hold you in the palm of His hand.
Love, Beryl Baldeo
My deepest condolences to Jack’s family, Trudy I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Dad. Jack had such a special spirit about him and his company was always enjoyed and appreciated. His Kind words, generous gestures and love for people was always so apparent. I will never forget the wonderful times at Lac La Hache with you Jack, Deanna and Trudy, and especially this past Sept Long Weekend we all shared at the lake. Rest In Peace Jack, you legacy is one to be proud of.
Dear Trudy and family. I was just informed of the passing of your dad.
Both your mom and dad were great friends and great people. I remember back in the early 70’s when you all came out to our little hovel at UBC student residencies and I would make pizza. We had so many good family days together.
So sorry to hear this news. Made God bless you with good memories of your folks. Dale
