We are so very sorry for your loss. Alice was so energetic and a real powerhouse pushing for all her causes, and we were all the lucky ones, enjoying the benefits of all of her hard work. No one was more welcoming and generous to us all
We will all miss her.
My sincere condolences to you all Kevin and Teressa so very sorry to hear about your mom passing.
My heart is broken to hear my beautiful sister passed away and what a beautiful person she was,
I will miss her so very much. She was the 5th oldest in our family of 10 children, 8 girls and 2 boys, and my big sister Alice, whom I loved so very much.. I’ll cherish all our special memories like when I visited her in Kelowna in 2017 and when she visited me in Red Deer and when we took a road trip up north to visit family. I was planning to visit again this year and now so thankful of our special time we had together. Your presence in this life will be forever in my heart. Rest in peace.
love always, leona
Kevin & family – Mom (Leona) just told me about Auntie Alice. The last time I saw her was in 2017 when she traveled to Edmonton and we had a great visit with her Auntie Gerry, my Mom and my daughter Danica. She was witty, adventurous, well spoken and always in my thoughts, My deepest sympathy to you all and to my Aunties (the Salamon sisters). XO
Kevin, Teresa, Dalton and Luciana,
I have emailed you and my thoughts have they been sent via email. There will always be a special spot in my heart
for Alice.
Hugs Sherrell and Cliff Davidson
Kevin, Teressa and family. My heart aches on the passing of your Mom, my dear sister and friend.
I have so many wonderful memories and photos of the years gone by that I still recall today
to give me strength now. She was a beautiful, thoughtful, considerate, kind hearted lady.
Always willing to help others. I will miss her dearly.
My deepest condolences Kevin, Teressa & Dalton.
Kevin, your mom was a wonderful caring person; her home was always open and welcoming to all. Although I never got much time to visit, each visit is treasured in my heart. She was very loved, and will be missed by many..
May gods love comfort your heart and lift your spirits in the sad days and give you the wings to fly in others.
Sending my deepest, sincere condolences to Alice’s family. She was so kind and thoughtful and opened her home for our group celebrations on a few occasions! She will be missed, and remembered always.
Dear Kevin and family,
Our deepest sympathies to you all. We love Aunt Alice so much and she will forever be in our hearts. We have many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. Ron, Jaclyn and I feel such deep loss too.
My loving memories go back to earlier times – In the ‘80’s when I lived on the Island, I would visit your mom and dad often because they were just a quick ferry ride away. Alice taught me about the Junior League, and she was the reason I became a Junior League member in the ‘90’s. Her family cookbooks were made with so much love and I use them regularly. They are treasures to me and will be passed down to Jaclyn.
Aunt Alice was such a loving Aunt and when she and your dad moved to Kelowna it was a quick plane ride from Edmonton. I looked forward to those annual summer visits and we would spend hours together catching up, strolling around Kelowna, and dining on Alice’s wonderful cooking. She was always so kind and loving and the best tour guide ever.
We hope you will find peace and solace during this difficult time.
Broken hearted,
Kim, Jaclyn and Ron
I am sorry to hear of your moms passing. Auntie Alice had a kind soul. Though I did not see her often I did like her very much and she will be missed!! Kevin and family you are in my thoughts today.
Dearest Kevin, Teresa and Dalton
I am sending you my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother, grandmother and my beloved sister.
Alice will always be in our hearts and thoughts until we see her again. I will never forget her sweet kindness and beautiful selflessness way she was to me and my family. She was so upbeat and energetic – full of life and youth. The last time I saw her in person she came to visit me in St Albert. She looked so relaxed and wonderful. That was Alice – always happy and selfless. I remember wherever we went people would stop and turn to watch Alice walk by.
It’s so hard to believe she is not here anymore. May our lord bless her and keep her as one of his beautiful angels.
Love, your aunt, Gerrie
We are very sorry to hear about your mom. Sending hugs, love, and light to you and your family. Love your cousin Lana.
Alice was amazing person, with so many interests. A kind, loving soul, who was welcoming to all. Fiercely independent, she knew what she liked, and handled herself with such grace and dignity. Her absence leaves a hole in all our hearts, but her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched. Always loved…never forgotten,..forever missed.
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this time.
