Passed away peacefully from time to eternity, at the age of 92, on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Village of Smith Creek in West Kelowna, B.C. Jeanette was born in 1929 in Oshawa, Ontario to parents George and Evelyn Lawrence. After the death of her husband Giles in 2016, mom moved to B.C. to be near other family relatives. Jeanette will be remembered for her passionate faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and her desire to share her faith to all who would listen. Beloved mother of John (Vicki), Rick (Jocelyn), and Wayne (Cindy). Grandmother of Duane (Alison), Aaron (Val), Jamie, Matthew, Mark, Paul, Hannah and Dylan. Great-grandmother to Bradley, Kaiden, Cydney, Paige, Conner and Ariel. Dear sister of Evelyn Rutledge, Allan Lawrence, and George Lawrence. Thank you to the compassionate and caring staff at the Village of Smith Creek in West Kelowna, B.C. A private family service (by invitation only) will be held at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m. Pacific). The service will also be broadcast via John Hughes’ Facebook live at the same time. Interment Oshawa Union Cemetery beside her husband Giles.
