His sense of humor, amazing work ethic, and incalculably bright spirit touched many people during his lifetime. Jamie was predeceased by his father, Bruce; his brother, Kurt; and his loving wife, Diana, whom he missed dearly. Jamie is survived by his mother, Aline; his daughter, Leaura (James); his son, Jarren; his sisters, Karen (Blair), Michelle, and Denise (Ryan); his brothers, Jeffrey (Charlene), Patrick (Amanda), and Jody; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. “A light left behind.” A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Mackenzie, BC.
Jeff, Char & Family – We didn’t know Jamie, but hearing you talk about him makes us realize how special he truly was to your family, and how much you loved him and how much love he gave back. Our hearts ache for you and send you all our love & support to help you get through this difficult time.
We are so deeply sorry for your loss. I remember Jamie from McLeod when my son Rick was in a band with him and they would play at the hall there. One time I was away for the weekend and the kids had played and were staying at our house. I came home and Jamie and hubby Dave were sitting at the kitchen table and there was a long piece of tape on the glass of the hutch. The glass was etched like diamonds. I had a fit and Jamie said.”I can’t tell a lie Mom, I did it”. Told him I hoped he had enough money to fix it. He went over and pulled off the tape and nothing was wrong. So funny now. Loved that kid..
Jeff, Charlene, Cody, Kylie and all family and friends. Our deepest sympathy to all. We only met Jamie a few times, and immediately liked him. He was a good person. We hope you find peace in the memories you all hold and know that your family and friends love and support you in this time of sorrow. We love you kids. Warm hugs from Dad and Mom.
