We Remember
JENSEN, Jason Alvin
—
With sadness, the family of Jason Alvin Jensen announces his passing on October 6, 2016 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 43. Born and raised in Calgary, Jason was a loving, happy and kind man, even when life wasn’t fair. He loved and worked with horses. He will be missed by his family, his friends, his support network and groups and by all of the people he met along his life’s path. In spite of the many good people who walked with him, Jason found life challenging: it seemed he was searching and never finding, never coming to peace. His family will gather in Calgary for an intimate memorial.
The Kelowna Friendship Society, 442 Leon Avenue, Kelowna, BC is hosting a memorial for Jason on Thursday, October 27th at 1:30 pm. Please come prepared to share your memories.
In honor of Jason, we ask that you do a good deed, say something kind to a stranger, give someone a hug and, most importantly, never judge someone by what you see…you never know the trials and heartaches that person has endured. Rest in Peace, Jay. You earned it. If you wish to send a condolence, post photos or share a memory, please scroll down the page to the area called “Share Your Condolences.”

My dearest Jason your soul was so good and love for others had no boundaries. I’m so glad for the time you lived with Aunty Linda and our family. You were happy always carrying that skateboard we got you for Xmas. I got you involved in baseball and you flourished. For some reason God places extra struggles in front of a person and Jason had many. Yet he just went ahead with life and took each unfair stage as part of life. Jay you know Aunty and I loved you with all our hearts. I know you may not know it but my life is better for having had you in it. May you rest in peace my boy, may god wrap his arms tight around you and give that peace you have been searching for all this time. I love Jason you will be with me till I draw my last breath.
Love Uncle Terry and family!!!
