We Remember
Lamb, Janice
—
Janice Lamb (Anderson) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on October 9, 2012.
Janice was born in New Westminster to Benny and Ruth Anderson and raised on the family farm in Langley. It is here that she met and married her husband, Howard. Together, they had many adventures in the Yukon and NWT before moving to Alberta. They then retired to Westbank in 1991.
Janice loved entertaining dear friends, tending her flower gardens and enjoying the wild birds. You received a treasured gift when you were given one of her beautiful handmade cards. She also enjoyed any time she could be swimming, dunking her grandkids or floating with friends in the pool.
Left to carry on her spirit of life are her husband, Howard; three daughters: Debra Lamb, Pat (Gary) Mouland, Judy (Allan) Richardson; grandchildren: Kendra and Ethan Mouland, Grady Clark and one great-granddaughter Livia Rego.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC, V1W 4M7.

It is a very sad day that our community has lost a bright light in Janice. All of her “swimming pal’s” will miss her presence amoung us. What was said in the locker room, stayed in the locker room…. We shared many laughs and pleasantries, as well as tears and hugs. My deepest condolences are sent to Howard and her girls and families. Hark!! do I hear a “whistler” from afar? I think we just might. Rest now.
Our deepest condolences to all. We pray that may her soul rest in eternal peace. Shanaz, Soraiya and Azim
Janice the smiles you spread will be missed. Howard and girls cherish the memories of that “special Lady” I am great full to have received one of those hand made cards, to have shared in many smiles and giggles and will think of Janice and smile every time I receive a bouquet of flowers!

My thoughts and prayers to you Howard and your girls and their families. Iv’e known Janice for many years and many, many laughs were had between us. I will miss our chats at the pool and of course as my client. Janice just loved her girls too bits and always shared such stories with me. I know Janice will be doing the same in heaven. They’ll all be having a ball because of her fun spirit. Take care to you all…
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We have many fond memories of your wife and mother while we shared happy hours in Yuma…especially her sense of humour.
As a long time lifeguard at JBMAC pool I became very friendly with Janice, and went to there home several times to see their dog and have many great conversations. I have not seen Janice for a few years, but will always remember her heartful smile.
Your friendship was very important and will be missed.
Always enjoyed our get together when in the area and your very special cinnamon buns.
Our sympathies go out to Howard and the family.
Dear Howard & Family
No matter how hard I try, I cannot remember the time or place that Janice blew into my life. She was such a wonderful person and a real breath of fresh air. So thoughtful, caring, witty and such a joy to be around. I do hope she has her little black book with her in heaven so she will know what is going on with us. I consider her one of my dearest friends and will always hold her close to my heart. “Rest in peace, little Lamb”
My condolences to Howard and daughters and wishing you lots of hugs and tranquility.

So sorry to hear about Janice. Our thoughts are with you and your family!
Dear Howard & family,
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Janice. We have known the Anderson family for a long time – I worked with Janice at Langley High School – what fun we had! We enjoyed our visit with you both in 2011 – Janice was a very determined lady and but up a good fight. Thinking of all of you at this sad time.
