Some people may not know that Uncle Bill loved fire trucks and that he would sometimes, on his way home from work, follow them to the fire that they were attending. One day when he followed the fire truck he was shocked to find that it went to his own home. Aunt Etheleen had a minor cooking mishap. I think he lost his interest after that. :}
I have many fond memories of Uncle Bill but what first comes to mind when I think of him is his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to tell stories and loved to laugh. I had a great visit with him in Kelowna last year and, even though his body was failing him, he told me lots of great stories and we had a lot of great laughs. He certainly lived a full and happy life. My thoughts are with you Bill and Brenda. Sending you lots of love. Deb
The Lee family has been in my life all my life. My Dad and Bill worked together when I was just a babe and I fondly remember his beaming smile and hearty laugh, his kindness and his generosity and the way he treated our family like, well, family. I got to tag along with him and my Dad when they played golf and I still remember his vintage plaid golf bag and the way he encouraged me and tolerated my chatterbox behaviour on the course. Brenda and Bill, you were so fortunate to have had him with you for 90 years and while I know that you will miss him, you have a lifetime of memories to carry with you. Linnea and I send our thoughts and our love to you. Take care and shine on. Dave
