Dear Paul, Keith, Kevin and Kyle:
We are so deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mei, your dear wife and mother. How we loved Mei, her wonderful laugh, and how we admired her strength. She was always delighted to show us pictures of all of you. Over the past years we have held her and you close to our hearts in thought and prayer. Please know we will be praying for God’s comfort for you Paul and family. We firmly believe that Mei is safe in the arms of Jesus.
Our very deepest condolences and love,

Paul,,,and family…We were saddened to hear of Mei’s passing. We have so many fond memories of her. Our weekly “visits” to Rubys were always special because of her. She made you feel like family. Even after Rubys closed it was fun “bumping” into her and the family at different times…our prayers are with your family at this time.
Even our best friend Mei has left us; the fond memory of her kindness, laughter and friendship she gave us will forever shine and live on in our hearts. Throughout her life, she gave out a lot of love and devotion to her family, and in return was so blessed to receive back so much love and respect from all of you within the Low household. A life well lived indeed! With our deepest condolences ; Arthur and Pearl Lo
I paid many visits to Ruby’ famous smorg. Mei greeted her friends and customers with her bright smile and happy demeanor. We were always made to feel welcomed. Her customer service was second to none – At MEI’S helm, Ruby’s has been missed for some years. She and her family served Kelowna well. My hearfelt condolences to the Low family.
To Paul, Keith, Kevin and Kyle,
My family and i had enjoyed Ruby’s for as long as i can remember. Mei gave me my first shot at employment as a 17 year old in 2004. I still have fond memories of her always making me a plate to eat after my shift finished as Kevin, Kyle and i tried to figure out the latest Game Boy/DS game. I’ll always remember the night she held the kitchen open for me as my brother’s flight had arrived late from Edmonton on Dec. 23rd. She insisted on cooking and saved our family’s Christmas Eve tradition of the family enjoying Ruby’s on December 24th. Mei was more then a boss to me, She never shied away from telling me and my brother to grow up and take it easy on my mother. I wish i took you up on your offer to travel with you to Beijing for the Olympics.
I remember our last order from Ruby’s, It was like a death in the family. Christmas Eve was never the same without her food and more importantly hearing and seeing her laugh. I always looked forward to seeing her and updating her on how i was doing. There were not many people more proud of me then Mei.
Myself and my family have missed her for over seven years. I hope she feels the love she deserves from the community.
Love;
Jordan Naylor & Family.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. She was a beautiful lady and a gracious hostess at the restaurant. GodBless
I enjoyed many meals at Ruby’s with my family when I was young and have such fond memories. My heartfelt condolences to the family on such a great loss. Mei was such a kind and loving woman who has been taken far too soon.
Dear Paul and family, I am so saddened to hear of Mei’s passing. Until it’s closing, Ruby’s was our family’s favourite restaurant. Mei always greeted us with such a friendly, cheerful manner. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Paul & family:
As if 2020 could not get any worse, we now have to deal with the tragic passing of Mei. We have the fondest memories of enjoying our weekly lunches at Ruby’s Family Restaurant. Mei was always kind, friendly and would greet us with a smile. On occasion, we were also able to spend time with the three boys. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.
