Very sad to hear of Ian’s passing. Ian was an interesting, passionate man who was always fun to be around, with his sense of humour and intellect. The Bruce boy,s, Cameron and Tyson were greatly affected by Ian during their years with the Kelowna Boxing Club. Ian had a positive affect on many young men who crossed his path at the boxing club. He was the heart and soul of the boxing club for many years, the glue that kept it together. Ian will be missed, but thought of greatly always. I had the pleasure of flying along side Captain MacPherson at Air Canada and I’m sure the family is fully aware of what an excellent aviator he was. He always looked after his crew and ran a very safe operation. Very sorry to learn of our collective loss… he was a fine fellow.
