MCGUINNESS, Anne
May 1, 1921 — July 29, 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of Anne McGuinness nee (O’Riordan) announce her passing Wednesday July 29th, 2015 at the age of 94.
Anne leaves to mourn her four sons: Fred (Kathryn), Pat, Bob and John; seven grandchildren: Angelina, Michael (Julie), Lisa (Jason), Matthew (Leah), Jacob, Shyla and Brady (Ashley) and ten Great grandchildren, Sevanah, Kailey, Jayden, Kaitlin, Keyana, Matty jr, Maleah, Lovehya, Milo and West. Two sisters Aileen and Marie and numerous relatives and friends.
Anne was predeceased by her husband of 59 years John, daughter Kathleen, mother and father; Mary Agnes and Frederick, six brothers; Tom, Bob, Pat, Bitz, Jim and Paul; one sister Rita.
The family would like to thank the staff of Brandt’s Creek Mews for the exceptional care Anne received. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 am at the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road Kelowna, BC.
Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Anne’s memory to BC Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research, 4480 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V4. Very sorry to hear about Anna’s passing.
We would like to express our condolences to the family. We are unable to attend the funeral due to a medical appointment for the same day.
A donation will be sent to the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Vancouver.
