We Remember
NEIL, Stuart T.W.
—
Stuart T.W. Neil of Beaverdell, BC passed away suddenly on April 22, 2023 at home at the age of 58. Born in Montreal, Quebec on December 9, 1964. He moved to BC in 1992.
He worked as a welder for over 30 years throughout BC then in 2014 a change of career was required. In 2015, he took and completed, at the top of his class, to become a certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician and began working at the Kelowna General Hospital. In May 2011 he was initiated into the Freemasonary Trepanier Lodge No. 83.
Stuart and his wife, Charlene Reid, met in 1994, and after years of a fond and loving friendship married at their home in 2018. Although there were not to be any children, Stu’s kids were all the dogs he and Charlene had through the years.
They had many adventures exploring the hills of the Okanagan and Boundary Country, whether it was hiking, snowshoeing, or on their ATVs, snowmobiles, and in 2022 they purchased a RV to expand the adventures. Going to the Wells Grey Park and enjoying the Black Power Rendezvouses. 2017 was the year to see their 6-week dream trip come true. Scotland, Paris, England, and Iceland – which to this day they are so happy they did as the world would change forever in 2018.
Stu’s heart was as big as he was and his smile and laughter will be deeply missed by Charlene, extended family, and all his friends.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at the home.
