We Remember
NEWMAN Judith
—
With profound sadness Judy’s family shares the tragic news that suddenly, and unexpectedly, Judy Newman (née Strom) passed away at home in Kelowna Friday Dec 17, 2021, at the age of 76.
Judy and Rae celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past October, and their love was as strong as ever. She is survived by Rae, son Scott (Stephanie), daughter Jill (Brian) and her grandchildren, Lauren, Jane, Will, Alexandra, and Jack.
Her family was the centerpiece of Judy’s life, and she absolutely loved being a Grandma. The treat cupboard was always full, whether at home or the lake! Judy was a treasure and loved by so many; her bighearted Strom family, her brother and sisters and their families, and her universe of friends. We are heartbroken, and yet blessed with a tapestry of beautiful memories from our lives together.
The family will not be holding a memorial service at this time. A celebration of life for Judy may be planned at a later date.

Rae, Scott, Jill and family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Such an amazing lady, who always brightened the day of those fortunate enough to know or meet her. You have been great family friends, who my parents cherished. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
To Rae and Family, so sorry to learn of Judy’s passing. I remember her smile growing up as her younger cousin in PG. Her father and mine were business partners for many years and big family gatherings at Xmas were the norm
