We Remember
NOVAKOWSKI, Frank Wayne
—
Frank passed away on October 23, 2018 at the age of 60. He is survived by his loving wife Michelle, his daughters Chelsea (John) Martinolich and Victoria, sister Brenda (Pat), his parents Frank Sr. and Marie Novakowski.
Frank worked in the telephone industry as a cable splicer for over 30 years; first with CT&S, BC Tel and then Telus. He was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping and biking but his first priority was always his family – his wife Michelle and his precious girls Chelsea and Tori. He taught his girls to fish, hike, start a campfire and gave them a love for the outdoors. They’ve grown to be strong, independent women because of his love.
Frank suffered with ALS for over 11 years without complaining. He made the most of every day and took care of his family to the end. He is loved and will be missed every day.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ALS Society of BC, www.alsbc.ca.

Michelle, Chelsea and Tori you have my deepest condolences.
What a great man! I was so fortunate to have had Frank for a friend. We played broomball together, worked together and helped each other with projects at our homes. Frank was always there. I’m sure going to miss him but am glad he doesn’t have to struggle anymore.

Michelle and family– the girls and myself are so sad to hear of the passing of Frank. We know the journey of ALS taken by Frank and yourself was difficult, but you both had a great positive attitude and took it one day at a time,
Take care of yourself -Irene Leeck

Oh, Michelle, Frank was an inspiration for so many of us and your devotion to each other was an example for lovers everywhere. Hugs from Sherry and I.
I wanted to send my condolences to Michelle, Chelsea and Tori for the loss of Frank. He was an amazing man — a bright and sunny disposition, an excellent sense of humour and (my inner child-speaking here) a WICKED Donald Duck impersonation. He will be missed deeply!
My thoughts are with you, Michelle and girls. You had a wonderful father and husband in Frank and he will be sorely missed. Love, E.J.
Dear Michelle, Mike and I are so very sorry for your incredible loss. We have you, Frank, and the girls in our thoughts. Sending you much love.
Frank was a Class Mate in High School, on behalf of all of us at Kam High, are thoughts are with the family. Glad to hear he made the most of his time here on Earth and leaves behind a beautiful family. Peace be with all. From experience, time alone does not heal the pain but rather helps us deal with one day at a time. Remember all the wonderful times.
