Very saddened to hear of this loss. Mr Prettie was my neighbour growing up as a child, my bus driver and also my teacher. He and Mrs Prettie taught me to okay the guitar and I have many fond memories playing at their home. As an adult, I bumped into Mr Prettie at JRFD 52, as he was there delivering students on a field trip (my husband teaches EMR and does a trip with each class to the hall), I was on maternity leave and got to take my oldest son on a school bus for the first time. Owen thought it was so neat that the driver had been my school bus driver when I was a kid. Mr Prettie will be very missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
