Passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 87. Survived by her daughters Alicja Chodor of Poland, Krystyna (Julian) Godziszewski of Houston, Aniela (Gary Darychuk) Florczynski of Kelowna; son Stan (Claudette) Ptasznik of St. John, NB; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sisters Teresa, Anna, Halina all of Poland.  Predeceased by her husband Bronislaw.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC with Father Wayne Pfliger officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6.

      Dear Ana, Gary and all of the family: We are so very sorry to hear of your dear mother’s death. We were fortunate to be able to get to know her a little during many of our shared celebrations and fun times together. She was a dear, gentle woman with a very kind heart and I am pleased to have met her. Of course you will miss her but hope you can find peace in the fact she is at rest.
