We Remember
ROBERTSON, Gordon Haig
—
It is with heavy hearts we announce the gentle passing of our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Gordon Robertson, on February 10th, 2015.
Predeceased by his wife, Marnie and brother Alex, he leaves to rejoice in a life well lived: sons Gary and Colin, daughter Lorie; and grandsons Danny, Damian, Nicholas, Brett and David. He also leaves behind niece Sandy (Gerry) and nephews Ron (Michele) and Grant (Sharon).
Gordon was known for his endearing charm, kind way, wonderful smile and fun loving manner. Gifted with an entertainer’s voice and an amazing repertoire of ageless songs, he danced, whistled and sang his way into many hearts.
Gordon moved his family from Kimberley to Kelowna in 1960 where he joined his brother Alex, sister-in-law Ella and later Ron and Grant at Robertson’s Clothing & Shoes on South Pandosy.
We are so grateful for the tender compassionate care extended by his “second family” at Orchard Manor and cherish the laughter and friendships made.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude for all the love and support received from the many lives he touched in such a positive way.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army or charity of your choice. No service by request.
