We Remember
RONACHER, Dallas
July 26, 1976 — June 27, 2021
In loving memory of Dallas Ryan Ronacher. Born July 26, 1976 in Kamloops, BC, Dallas left us June 27, 2021. Dallas grew up in Kelowna, BC where he cultivated many friends, friends who he still had to this day.
Dallas was a bright and compassionate person who was always there to listen. When anyone had a problem with plumbing, irrigation, fixing the brakes on a vehicle, or with the smallest thing, like a thermostat, he was the guy. At the drop of a hat, he was there to help, with whatever needed to be done.
He was highly respected by those he worked with at Specialty Overload Services. Dallas never shied away from any task: from connecting steel in the dead of winter to throwing hay in 35 degree weather. He did everything with a smile on his face and a clever wit on his tongue. Dallas was the official smile captain at work, every place needs one.
Dallas had an amazing sense of humour, he was witty and always had the perfect come back. His adventures took him to the wilderness. Hiking, fishing and camping were his happy place.
If we could learn anything from the loss of Dallas, it would be to talk more openly about the stigma of substance abuse and mental health. The use of alcohol in every aspect of life, creates the opportunity for abuse. Dallas looked after everyone, except himself.
His family and friends are devastated by his sudden passing.
We love you Dal. Your sense of adventure and kindness will live on in all of us. We will think of your smile every morning when the sun rises.
He is survived by his mother, Judi; his brothers Travis (Ginger) and Jarvis (Adrianne); and three amazing nephews Jack, Vann and Ladd.

Sorry to hear about Dal. I hadn’t seen him in a few years, but I remember our high school years together fondly.
Rest easy Dallas
Dallas was our Rock! A friend who would listen to our problems and always knew what to say to make you feel better or understood. He was the first guy to help you out with anything and could do anything he put his mind to… From irrigation to computers from Ikea to masonry… Dallas helped us figured it out. As he often said… “it’s not Rocket Appliance! Then would dance his Truffle Shuffle. We love you Dally!

Judi and family- the sadness and grief is overwhelming. Dallas’s warmth and genuine caring for others will be cherished and his spirit lives on each and every day.
“There is no night without a dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond this dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing…
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care-worn world
Into a brighter day….”

First met Dallas at a summer soccer camp when we were both 7. Been friends ever since. I will miss his friendly joking banter while sitting around playing crib. He was a great longtime friend. He will be greatly missed by so many friends and family. Miss you Dal!!

We are so sad. We are very sorry for your unexpected and tragic loss.
We got to know Dallas and we all were very fond of him. He was a wonderful and kind man. The kids loved spending time with him. They all have special memories of him doing a back flip off the dock, trying to win at paddleboard races and of course his cheese biscuits ( like no other ever ). Dallas made a huge impression on them and that says alot about him. Dallas took great care of every0ne. He will be missed. Blessings. Jennifer, Flora, Lachlan, Tevia and Theo Watt
