Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the age of 98. Survived by her loving family, son Steve (Marilyn) of Kelowna; four grandchildren: Maryann (Steve) Gunderson, Jean Robertson, Darrell Hoult and Darren Hoult; two great grandsons: Brad and Matt and two great granddaughters: Kyra and Amanda; as well as her extended family. Predeceased by her husband John and brother John. Patty will be remembered for her love of crocheting and patch quilting and her delicious perogies. She was a hard worker. Her memory will be in our hearts forever. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at Sun Pointe Village, 700 Rutland Road North, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #4 – 1551 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 9M9. We are saddend to hear of her passing. We still remember our visit with John and Patty and the delicious blueberry pyrohy she treated us with. Our condolences to Steve,Marilyn and family.
As a family friend, I fondly remember the good times we spent together in the Garland and Duck River area. Patty and John were both very special people, and my deepest condolences go out to your family.
Steve, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She was always such a joy to see and I always looked forward to her coming into the office. she will be missed.
